We were able to spend time with our family during Thanksgiving week. On Thanksgiving Day, some of us went on a mountain gorilla trek in Volcanoes National Park. We visited the Igishe Family on the slopes of Mt. Karisimbi, the highest peak in Volcanoes National Park at 14,787 ft. The Igishe Family is the largest in the park with 36 members, including 6 silverbacks; Igishe (above) and 5 of his sons. November 23, 2023.
