The majority of the month of August was a break between academic years at the Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture (RICA). Consequently, most students were away from campus, and the academic calendar took a break as well. In mid-August to early September Teresa and I welcomed our family for a visit, and we spent a couple of weeks touring around Rwanda as well as on the RICA campus.
